I'm Burak, a Software Engineer based in Istanbul, creating software both as a career and a passion, with approximately 4 years of experience in the industry. I'm currently working at Atlassian as a Frontend Software Engineer.

I love learning, exploring, and tinkering. It's important for me to document the things that I learn. And I thought it would be nice to share them. I am both interested in the theoretical aspects of computer science and the practical aspects of software development.

This corner of the internet is where I share my thoughts, experiences, and learnings.

I love all things JavaScript, especially along with Typescript. I'm passionate about frontend development. React, Next.js, Redux, Styled Components, Framer Motion and Three.js are among the JavaScript libraries and frameworks I've used and enjoyed.

For backend, I mostly resort to Node, but recently I've been learning Go. The former is often accompanied by libraries and frameworks such as Express, Nest.js, Sequelize and TypeORM.

And finally for more theoretical aspects, I am mostly interested in operating systems, computer networks and distributed systems.
